It's Time To Get Connect

Before, I start let me be honest; I don't understand much about cars and their specifications related vocabulary. Then what am I doing here, writing a post about a website, which is totally dedicated towards cars only. The answer is CarConnect.com and it's various features. When I first visited the website, it took me a little while to understand the whole concept and the opportunities they are offering toUS (any random visitor can easily login to the website with a facebook account and write about his/her experiences of cars and travel routes/destinations). Yes, it was the long drive part that attracted me most because I love driving and luckily I had some wonderful road journeys with buddies to cherish for lifetime. So the very first tab I clicked on the site was the "Long Drive" section and to my surprise, there were number of travel stories of Leh Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, Cochin, Kolkata  and so on. I even found some fellow bloggers and their road trip stories whom I know through indiblogger.com. The more I read those stories, the more I was feeling like to pack my bag, grab the car keys and zoooooooooommmmmmmmmmm.....

However, at CarConnect.in, there is much more than long drive and driving experiences.  As the name tells us, it "connect cars"  with the passengers, with the travelers, with the buyers and sellers  and most of all it works as a social community of car and travel lovers. What do you want to know about the cars or a specific car? Looking for  new arrivals? Do you love reading news about cars? Want to compare cars and want to save the information for later usage? Here, you are, so many questions/queries and one answers/solution. I liked the "Car Compare" section very much because it provides us with a pdf file of comparison that is quite handy. Unlike other website where information is displayed on web page only and each time when you want to know something, you have to visit the site. And when we are talking about other websites, then I think mentioning one more point wouldn't be wrong.

Before buying my "White Beauty" I took help of internet to get information about different car models of my desired segment and budget. What I didn't like about those sites is that their home page is full of information, but appears in a very messy way. Number of boxes and windows; enough to make forget  your actual requirement and you get confused "which tab/button/link/box I should click first" ? At CarConnect, I found it very well organized, no random windows or boxes to distract you. Soothing user-friendly interface, easy to find desired information according to your priority and an open door of sharing your stories/experiences in  a separate section. And, who knows you may find some of your facebook friends (whom you might have not met in real life) on CarConnect.in and can explore the stories behind their holiday trip photo albums.

Another thing that I loved about CarConnect is the separate thread for sharing your "Car Experience". Of course, if you are a car lover, then surely you want to know "how other people feel about this same model and brand"? Or maybe you want to read a firsthand experience of a particular car, obviously not just technical details, but something more than techno-lingo. Then, this thread is for you; well I too have shared my car experience and waiting to see it published on the CarConnect site.

So, this is what I felt while going through the website of CarConnect.in and before I finish, let me be honest one more time. While writing for the car experience, one need to choose the car brand and then car model. To my surprise and disappointment (both at same time) my Alto K10 was not in the menu, so I had to choose Alto 800, which is totally a different model. I hope the CarConnect Team will soon head upon these tiny-winy things and would provide us a larger range of car models.
